GAIA and Samsung Partner to Launch AI-Native Galaxy S25 Edge with Decentralized AI Ecosystem

GAIA has collaborated with Samsung to introduce a limited-edition AI-native smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Edge GAIA Edition. This device is engineered to enable on-device large language model operations, removing reliance on cloud infrastructure while emphasizing privacy, data ownership, and user rewards through a decentralized AI framework.

Shashank Sripada, COO and Co-founder of GAIA, highlights the device's focus on AI sovereignty—granting users full control over their data, models, and AI agents. The phone caters to privacy-conscious markets by offering pre-configured domains and agent templates, allowing even non-technical users to deploy personalized AI tools without surrendering control to centralized platforms.

The architecture ensures data remains local, models are user-selected, and interactions are free from centralized surveillance. GAIA’s network design incorporates open-node access and anti-centralization mechanisms, positioning it as a challenger to dominant cloud-based AI monopolies.
